As a John L. Scott broker, my mission is transactional excellence and client satisfaction. That means I work tirelessly to make your home buying or selling process as efficient, stress-free and lucrative for you as possible.

Meet Whitney

My goal is to provide clients exceptional service and the knowledge to make informed decisions during the selling and buying process. I am dedicated to working with you every step of the way – from initial contact, to executing contracts, to closing and following up after the sale to ensure you have a positive experience.

Before I hit my five-year mark working in real estate, I had the honor of becoming a top producing Realtor® and also achieved a five-star ranking in service provided to clients.

I am a member of the Portland Metropolitan Association of Realtors®, the Oregon Association of Realtors® and the National Association of Realtors®. I believe that being active in the real estate community is an important part of being a Realtor® and have served on state committees focusing on communication and professional networking. I am currently serving on the Board of Directors as the Vice President of Realtor® Advocacy with the Portland Metropolitan Association of Realtors® and am a State Director on the Oregon Association of Realtors® Board of Directors.

I was raised in a military family and from a young age was taught that service, loyalty, honesty, and integrity were top priorities in the way we live life. These core values are not only part of my personal life, but part of my professional career. When I became a professional Realtor®, one of my goals was to work with military families. Growing up in a military family, and being raised in a military city, I grew up with an appreciation for the men and women serving our great country. As a Military Relocation Professional (MRP) and Certified Military Residential Specialist (CMRS), I am trained and equipped to skillfully handle the home purchase and selling needs of active duty and veteran clients.

Prior to becoming a professional Realtor®, I worked as a communications director for a senior member of Congress and led him to be ranked in the top 20 politicians nationally for media coverage. I have also worked in radio and television as an on-air personality, and in marketing and communications for a community blood center. These experiences provided me with additional communications and marketing skills that will better help me to work with you to sell or buy your home.

I am actively involved in several local nonprofits that focus on everything from housing for veterans to serving local children who have experienced commercial sexual exploitation. I am also a longtime blood donor and advocate. In high school I organized a youth led blood drive that collected over 3,000 units of blood, saving over 12,000 lives, and when I got married, guests donated blood in lieu of giving a wedding gift. I also serve on yearly national awards committee under America’s Blood Centers selecting recipients from blood center nominations from across the country and am a past recipient of the Larry Frederick Award.

As a mom of three young children, most of my time when I’m not working is spent running around and playing with them. I also enjoy traveling, storm chasing, being outside, volunteering, and spending time with my family.

I look forward to working with you and providing you and your family with exceptional service!

"Whitney Minnich is outstanding in every category. Her professional demeanor, transparency about the cost breakdown, attention to detail, punctuality and availability - she exceeded our expectations in every way, and we are already excited to find other buyers to recommend her to. And, not only is Whitney very professional and a great communicator, she's also so much fun to work with!"

"Whitney was constantly in contact with me, always updating me on the progress of the home as well as answering all my questions. She was professional and kind at every interaction and made an overwhelming process very easy. I enjoyed working with Whitney and look forward to our next transaction."

"Whitney was the best realtor we could have hoped for! We had a very short time line to find and rent or purchase a house. Not only did Whitney do a great job finding homes with our specifications, after being out with us she had other suggestions based on things we had said during prior showings. We were able to find a perfect house in a couple days, and she arranged the inspection while we were still in town, 24 hours after our offer was accepted. Were out of the state for the actual purchase of our home and Whitney communicated with us weekly and kept us up to date on everything. She was on top of the purchase and we never had to ask for follow up, as she was always one step ahead. We would highly recommend Whitney. She made a potentially stressful situation stress free with her professionalism, knowledge, and thoughtfulness."
